Two years ago we saw a striking brown Tassort Filly at the yearling sales who ended up becoming s takes place-getter and SA 2yo Magic Millions runner up Ad Astra and the moment we saw this Filly, we thought they were tremendously alike . From the same stud in Kingstar Farm who continue to be a prolific stakes winning breeding group we couldn’t be more thrilled to have purchased this girl.
This girl’s mother, Honey Flower ,by Bel Esprit, sire of Black Caviar, was extremely precocious, highlighted by her win in the 1100m GH Mumm Stakes down the Flemington straight. Tassort has already shown he is likely to become a superstar Stallion in the years to come in just his first season, producing the Group 1 winner Manaal among 10 other individual winners and $2M in progeny earnings.
One major point we have seen with him, is his success with Fillies in particular , as of now. All his stakes performers have been female, hence our eagerness to purchase another Filly by him.
